A small number of young paranormal people from Zuvian Country are finding mates outside their species.  The trial period set for Ember and Avin is nearing its end.  The Ancients have begun showing up, their bloodlines now being fulfilled.  Will paranormal law continue if Ember and Avin's bond is torn apart?  Can the Paranormal Council make them reject one another?  What happens when members of the council begin to discover that they have a mate of their own species?  Are they willing to give up power for the greater good, or is their power the greater good?  So many questions, so few answers.
